Girls are ambitious. They’re creative. They’re capable. What they often lack is access, guidance, and consistency. #HerClimb exists to change that, one student and one pathway at a time.

#HerClimb was created for ambitious girls who deserve greater opportunity and support than their school systems often allow.

We’re building a pathway that helps them step into rooms, fields, and futures they’ve been kept out of for too long.

This is the start. There’s so much more to come.

Some girls know exactly what they want but have never been shown a clear way to reach it. Others are still figuring out who they can become. Both deserve a pathway supported by care, consistency, and real opportunity.

Her Climb exists because girls advance further when they have community and adults who stay in their corner year after year.

Our four pillars shape everything we do: 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩, 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬, 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐝. These are not slogans. They are the conditions young women deserve as they build the lives they want.

Each student starts by choosing a track that matches her voice and curiosity: 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬, 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐬, 𝐉𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐦, 𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐌. From there, the work continues year-round through Saturday workshops, retreats, mentorship, academic check-ins, and enrichment experiences that broaden a girl’s sense of what is possible.

“I grew up knowing I could achieve more, but rarely seeing a road that led there. I learned how to succeed by trial and error, often feeling like the only one trying to climb without support.

Thousands of girls in New York City are still navigating that same uncertainty. They have talent and ambition. What they lack is structured access: to mentors, to real professional environments, to mental health support, to networks that open doors instead of closing them.

#HerClimb exists to change what they inherit. Our students receive a summer intensive, hosted at my alma mater, Columbia University, year-round guidance on college and careers, and a community that stands with them as they rise.”

Founded by #RitaOmokha, Her Climb is designed so the next generation does not have to advance alone.

There are girls in this city who carry brilliance quietly. Girls who lead in classrooms but are overlooked when opportunities are handed out. Girls who have ambition bigger than the resources around them.

𝐇𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐛 exists for them. For the ones who are ready to rise but deserve a real path upward.
