Anne-Lise Antolinos_Her Climb
Vice Chair
Anne-Lise is a partner at The Berkeley Partnership, where she leads large-scale transformation programs across industries including retail, healthcare, and government. She has extensive experience in strategy implementation, operating model design, and organizational change. A champion of diversity, equity, and inclusion, Anne-Lise leads Berkeley’s Women@Berkeley network and holds an MBA from Birmingham Business School and a master’s in Psychotherapy and Counselling from Regent’s University London.
As vice chair, Anne-Lise supports the Chair in board leadership and takes primary responsibility for guiding fundraising strategy: engaging donors, tracking progress toward development goals, and helping mobilize board connections for giving.
Jamie Axelrod_Her Climb
Secretary
Jamie is an educator and program designer with nearly twenty years of experience in literacy, instruction, and youth leadership. She holds a B.S. in English and Secondary Education from Vanderbilt University and an M.A. in Literacy from Teachers College, Columbia University. She has led academic initiatives across NYC schools and coached teachers locally and internationally. She was the founding dean of instruction and academics at KIPP Beyond Middle School.
As secretary, Jamie maintains board records, meeting minutes, and compliance documents. She also supports governance processes and ensures smooth communication and coordination among board members.
Erika Freund_HC_Rita Omokha
Director, Development
Erika brings over two decades of leadership in nonprofit development, fundraising strategy, and institutional advancement. She has successfully built and scaled revenue streams for mission-driven organizations, leading grant acquisition, major donor cultivation, and corporate partnerships. Most recently, she served as Chief Development Officer at the Bronx Community Foundation and previously led development and external affairs at the Women’s Prison Association and West Side Campaign Against Hunger, where she grew individual giving programs by over 250% and forged strategic community and institutional partnerships. Her experience spans launching innovative programs, building operational systems to support long-term sustainability, and shaping strategic communications that amplify organizational impact. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Western New England University and a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from NYU.
Pamela McKelvin-Jefferson_Her Climb
Director, Programs
Pamela is the Assistant Dean for Strategic Initiatives at Columbia’s Graduate School of Journalism. She previously led Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion strategy at Columbia Business School, where she also supported the development of Executive Education programming. She brings extensive experience in equity-centered and leadership-focused initiatives that drive institutional culture change, student support, and community engagement. Pamela earned her bachelor’s degree in Sociology and her master’s degree in Higher Education Administration and Student Affairs from NYU.

As the director of programming, Pamela provides guidance on program strategy and student experience. Working in partnership with our corporate engagement director, she helps shape strategic relationships to strengthen Her Climb’s visibility and impact.
Claire McNamara_Her Climb
Director, Corporate Engagement
Claire is a managing director at Accenture, focusing on value-led business transformation through supply chain innovation and technology. She is a graduate of the National University of Ireland, in Biomedical Engineering. 
As the director of corporate engagement, Claire oversees Her Climb’s corporate partnerships, identifying opportunities for sponsorship and collaboration. She provides strategic guidance on leveraging professional networks to expand access, visibility, and long-term program impact.

Chair
As the founder and chair of the board, Rita provides overall leadership for the board and ensures alignment with Her Climb’s mission and strategic goals. She facilitates meetings, sets agendas, and serves as the primary liaison between the board and the organization.
