Our Board
Vice Chair
Anne-Lise is a partner at The Berkeley Partnership, where she leads large-scale transformation programs across industries including retail, healthcare, and government. She has extensive experience in strategy implementation, operating model design, and organizational change. A champion of diversity, equity, and inclusion, Anne-Lise leads Berkeley’s Women@Berkeley network and holds an MBA from Birmingham Business School and a master’s in Psychotherapy and Counselling from Regent’s University London.
As vice chair, Anne-Lise supports the Chair in board leadership and takes primary responsibility for guiding fundraising strategy. Working closely with our director of development, she engages donors, tracks progress toward development goals, and helps mobilize board connections for giving.
Director, Development
Erika is a social impact leader with nearly two decades of experience advancing community-driven initiatives across the U.S. and internationally. Her work spans food insecurity, justice reform, youth development, education, global economic development, and philanthropy, grounded in a deep commitment to equity and systems-level change.
Her career spans senior leadership roles across strategy, programs, and development and communications. A builder at her core, Erika is known for getting complex initiatives off the ground—strengthening, scaling, and transforming programs and organizations to better meet community needs. She has successfully built and scaled diversified revenue streams for mission-driven organizations, leading grant acquisition, major donor cultivation, and corporate partnerships.
As director of development, Erika partners closely with the Chair to shape and advance the organization’s fundraising strategy. She plays a central role in donor engagement and in activating external networks to grow philanthropic support. She holds an MSW from NYU.
Director, Programs
Pamela is the Assistant Dean for Strategic Initiatives at Columbia’s Graduate School of Journalism. She previously led Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion strategy at Columbia Business School, where she also supported the development of Executive Education programming. She brings extensive experience in equity-centered and leadership-focused initiatives that drive institutional culture change, student support, and community engagement. Pamela earned her bachelor’s degree in Sociology and her master’s degree in Higher Education Administration and Student Affairs from NYU.
As the director of programming, Pamela provides guidance on program strategy and student experience, including support for college access and academic pathways, leveraging her expertise to ensure all programs are aligned with Her Climb’s mission and designed to maximize student growth and engagement. She also partners closely with the director of development to communicate program impact to donors and supporters.
Director, Corporate Engagement
Claire is a Managing Director at Accenture, focusing on value-led business transformation through supply chain innovation and technology. She holds a degree in Biomedical Engineering from the National University of Ireland and has extensive experience building cross-sector partnerships that drive measurable impact.
As the director of corporate engagement, Claire partners closely with the director of development and oversees Her Climb’s corporate partnerships, identifying opportunities for sponsorship, in-kind support, and collaboration. She provides strategic guidance on leveraging professional networks to expand access, visibility, and long-term program impact, ensuring that corporate engagement aligns with and amplifies Her Climb’s mission and student experience.
Chair
As the founder and chair of the board, Rita provides overall leadership for the board and ensures alignment with Her Climb’s mission and strategic goals.
